Topeka Police are investigating money missing from Topeka High School.

TPD says a 2008 audit revealed money was missing from the booster club's collection of memberships, clothing sales and concessions. Investigators are also looking into donations that were meant for the Topeka High booster club.

Investigators are seeking assistance from individuals who may have donated money to the Topeka High Trojans Booster Club in the years 2007 and 2008. If you have any information, contact Det. Lynn Weddle of the Financial Crimes Unit at 785-368-9414 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.

Meantime, a case is pending for a former Topeka High employee.

Pamela Buckhalter is accused of stealing more than $13,000 from a school activities fund while serving as a cheerleading coach and secretary.

A preliminary hearing is set for June 22nd.
