Jury selection got underway Monday in the second trial for four men accused in the 2007 murder of a Topeka man.
21-year-old Kelvin Phillips , 23-year-old Drake Kettler, 19-year-old Corky Williams, and 19-year old Antonio Armstrong face charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree, and criminal possession of a firearm.
All are accused of entering a home on MacVicar in August 2007, cornering James Dyer Junior and shooting him to death.
The first trial ended in a hung jury.
Defense attorneys in the case argued the evidence was not credible, because the witnesses admitted to using crack cocaine.
