Topeka Oolice continue investigating overnight gunshots that left two people wounded.
The first report of shots fired came at 2 am Monday from 12th and Golden.
Officers found shell casings and heard another gunshot while collecting evidence.
Just after 3 am, they heard a shot again. Neighbors directed them to 11th and Carnahan where they found a man in his early 20s with a wound to his foot.
While all this was happening, police say another man in his early 20s was brought to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. The injury was not life threatening.
