NEWTON, Kan. (AP) _ Two men accused of burning a woman with a
blowtorch are jailed in south-central Kansas on $200,000 bond.

The Hutchinson News is reporting that the bond amount was set Thursday during a first appearance in Harvey County District Court
for 23-year-old Timothy M. Livingston and 19-year-old Devin M.
Zimmerman.

Each of them are charged with counts of aggravated battery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary,
criminal threat and theft.

The Halstead men are accused of forcing their way into the woman's home Monday and using a blowtorch to threaten her to divulge the whereabouts of her ex-boyfriend whom they thought would
be in the house.

Halstead Police Chief Matthew Neal says the woman received minor
burns from the torch and refused medical treatment.
