Man Accused of Stabbing Wife Captured in Iowa

UNDERWOOD, Iowa - On Monday, March 9th, around 12:30 a.m., Douglas Kling was captured at a rest area on I-80 outside Underwood, Iowa.

Marsyville Police Chief, Todd Ackerman, said Kling was arrested without incident. He is being held in the Pottawatomie County, Iowa Jail facing extradition.

Kling was on the run after becoming a suspect in the stabbing of his wife, Kellie Kling.

Ackerman said Kellie Kling is doing well in the hospital.
