ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ Three men have been charged with what Arkansas City police say is part of a multistate forgery and theft ring.

Arkansas City Police Chief Sean Wallace says the three men arrested are from Haysville, Wichita and Arkansas City. They're being held in the Cowley County Jail on $100,000 bond each, on charges including forgery, dealing in false documents and methamphetamine possession.

Police arrested the three earlier this week after a fake check was used at an Arkansas City business.

Wallace says investigators found methamphetamine, more than 30 fraudulent identification cards and fraudulent checks in their truck.
