Bank Robbery Suspect Indicted for Getaway that Killed Bystander

The man accused of killing a bystander while making a getaway from a bank robbery could face the death penalty if convicted.

39-year old Ross Williams of Claremore, Oklahoma was indicted Friday on counts including bank robbery and killing a person while attempting to escape arrest.

Prosecutors say Williams robbed the Bank of America in Coffeyville, Kansas February 17th. They say he fired shots from an assault rifle while fleeing.

Willie Neal, Junior was caught in the crossfire and killed.
