Topeka Police Look for New Clues in 1971 Killing

Topeka Police return to a Christmas Day killing from 1971 for the Crimestoppers Crime of the Week.

About 1:15 am that day, police found Benjamin Weiler, Sr. shot dead near his car by the railroad tracks at the intersection of Northwest Lyman Road and Northwest Lane Street. He was lying near his vehicle, which was still running.

Weiler owned Gentle Ben's Den on Silver Lake Road.
