NEAR PALATKA, Florida - The Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday they have arrested a sexual predator who lives a mile from the home of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings for violating his curfew Wednesday.

Timothy Randolph Loucakis, 50, who wears a GPS tracking device, was not at his home Wednesday night, said Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy. The same device also showed Loucakis was not in the area of Haleigh's home the night of her disappearance on Feb. 9th, Hardy said.

Hardy also confirmed that Misty Croslin, Ronald Cumming's girlfriend and the last person reportedly to have seen the girl alive, was back at the Putnam County Sheriff's Office being re-interviewed, but "will be able to go home," he said.

Loucakis is one of 44 sexual offenders in the area interviewed by law enforcement officials as part of their investigation into the abduction of Haleigh Cummings from her south Putnam County home.

"We did a precautionary search and looked at his GPS monitoring (system) and (Loucakis) was not where he was supposed to be," said Hardy.
