WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ A Wichita tennis coach pleads not guilty to having sex three times with a 15-year-old girl who attended his family's tennis facility.

Forty-four-year-old Barry Fields faces three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child because the girl was older than 14 but younger than 16, the age of consent in Kansas. Prosecutors say the incidents occurred from May to July last year.

Fields yesterday waived his preliminary hearing, and Sedgwick County District Judge Ben Burgess set a tentative trial date of April 13.

The Wichita Eagle reported that Fields and his two brothers have gained national attention for their work in youth tennis at BK Tennis Academy, especially with minorities and those in low-income groups.
