LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) _ Lawrence police say a sexual assault last week may be connected to several other armed sex crimes in the city since 2004.
In the most recent attack, police said Monday that a 19-year-old woman was attacked by an unidentified man who entered her home about 2 a.m. on Dec. 1.
The Lawrence Journal-World reported Monday that police said the intruder was armed with a weapon in all five attacks. Investigators said two attacks took place in 2004, one happened in 2006 and the fourth was last March.
The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 40 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, with a slim build.
Police said anyone with information about the sexual attacks is asked to call Lawrence Police, 830-7430 or Douglas County Crimestoppers at 843-8477 (TIPS).
