A preliminary hearing date is set for the man accused of killing a Topeka teenager.
Deon Ross will be in court January 8th. The hearing to determine if there's enough evidence for him to stand trial is expected to last two days.
Ross is charged with first degree murder in the death of 18-year old Alheli Alcantara. Her body was found outside a Manhattan hotel October 12th. Ross and Alcantara has worked together at a Topeka Burger King location.
Ross is being held on $2 million bond.
