$30K Worth Of Equipment Stolen In Pott. County

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Kan. -- The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating stolen equipment from the Manhattan area.

On September 17th, 2012 the victim reported that his John Deere 4520 tractor, as well as a Bohnert 18 foot flatbed trailer and a grass seeder were stolen.

These items had been parked at 701 Enoch Lane, Manhattan KS. The victim saw the equipment at 1:00 p.m. on September 16th then noted the items missing on September 17th.

The loss in this theft will exceed 30,000 dollars.

The stolen items are as described:

2009 John Deere 4520 with front loader

Bohnert 18 foot flatbed trailer, black in color

Grass seeder

The evidence at the scene indicates a vehicle hooked up to the trailer, then may have traveled on Highway 24. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office at 785-457-3353.
