19-year-old Pleads Guilty in Tyson Theft

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ A 19-year-old man accused in the theft
of $140,000 from the home of Tyson Foods Inc. Chairman John Tyson
has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.

The money was taken during a party thrown by Tyson's daughter on
Dec. 27 at the family home in Johnson, Ark. Ryan Matthew Silvey was
among three people accused in the case, and he entered his guilty
plea Tuesday in federal court in Fayetteville to transportation of
stolen goods.

About $30,000 of the missing money was recovered from Silvey, who was arrested Feb. 13 in Olathe, Kan.

State charges were dropped against another suspect and a third person sought still has not been found.
