Teen Pleads Guilty To Assaulting THS Security Guard

One of two teens accused of attacking a Topeka High School security guard last winter has pleaded guilty.

Raymond Garcia and Joshua Munoz were charged with jumping a school resource officer as he led a student from the building.

Shawnee County court officials say Garcia pleaded Wednesday to a charge of assault on a law enforcement officer.

Sentencing is set for November 6th.

Munoz had his trial delayed and a new date is not set yet.
