2nd Winfield Escapee Caught
(WIBW) - The second inmate who escaped from the Winfield Correctional Facility more than a week ago was captured Monday.
The Dept. of Corrections says 52 year old Robert Cook was apprehended without incident Monday morning in Byers, Kansas.
He and inmate Frank Crutchfield escaped from the facility June 16th in a state-owned vehicle. Crutchfield was arrested in Wichita last Wednesday.
