2 More Arrests In Incident Allegedly Involving Mo's Express Partner

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Authorities arrested two more men in connection with the same incident that has Mo's Express partner Monroe Lockhart behind bars.

Topeka Police confirm Anthony Talbert, Jr., who was the manager of Mo's Express, was arrested last Thursday afternoon in Tempe, Arizona. They also say Jacob Barnett was arrested Thursday in Topeka.

Shawnee County District Court records indicate Talbert and Barnett face the same charges as Lockhart. Those include aggravated burglary and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say the trio entered a home at SE 19th and Adams last November, assaulted a woman with a knife and threatened to kill a man who also was there.

Authorities say the charges are not related to the death of 39-year old Corey Brown. Brown was a developer of the shopping center where Mo's Express convenience store is located. His body was found in rural Douglas County January 6th.
