PHOENIX (AP) _ Police say a former student shot three people in
a computer room at a Phoenix community college, injuring two of
The suspect was arrested at a nearby home.
The shooting, at South Mountain Community College, is said to have resulted from a running dispute between the suspect and one of
the wounded. A police spokesman says the other two victims were hit
by stray shots.
The suspect was identified as Rodney Smith. Smith's parents and
three other people were arrested on charges of interfering with an
investigation and failure to obey a police officer.
