Abducted Baby Found, Suspect Still Sought

(Topeka, KS) -- Topeka Police continue to search for a suspect, after he reportedly snatched a ten month-old infant from the child's mother. The baby was recovered safe and unharmed around 4:40 p.m.

The suspect has been identified by an officer on the scene as Ivan Carlando Jackson. He is described as a black male in his early 20's. He stands around 6'2" and weighs around 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored shirt.

Shortly before four o'clock, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 2600 block of SE Colorado. A woman alerted authorities that a man she knew, but not a family member, took her infant.

The baby was found about an hour later at a residence in the in the 3200 block of SE Humboldt.
