Man Convicted of Murder Sentenced for Separate Rape Case

A man already in prison for murder was sentenced Friday in a separate rape case.

Jeremy Kincy pleaded guilty in April to two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a victim between the ages of 14 and 16. In exchange for the plea, counts of raping a person unable to consent due to mental incapacity and criminal sodomy were dismissed.

Shawnee County District Court Judge Evelyn Wilson sentenced Kincy to 22-years, 11-months in prison. The time will run concurrent to his 13 year sentence on second degree murder charges in a separate case.

Kincy was one of three men charged in the June 2007 stomping death of 46-year old Randy Lyman outside an apartment building at SW 6th and Harrison.
