Internet predators are a major concern for parents. But that is also why there are so many programs, and so much software aimed at keeping an eye on where kids go online.
But what about video game systems that allow kids to not only play with other people online -- but actually speak with them on headphone systems?
Playstation 3 and X-Box Live, among others, give kids the chance to play with their friends online. But they also give predators a chance to play too -- and even speak with potential victims.
The video game department at Best Buy says there are ways to fight this -- specifically, a parental code that prevents kids from going to certain sites.
There is also an option that gives parents approval over whom their child is playing with online -- making sure their friends actuallly are their friends.
Click on the video for a look at how to keep kids safe online. For those internet novices, you can get help from Best Buy and other game/computer stores.
