Three Arrested in Connection With Riley County Felonies

MANHATTAN, Kan. - On June 13, 2008, detectives of the Riley County Police Department made arrests in connection with a series of three violent felonies that occurred during the past week.

Those crimes included an aggravated robbery at Dollar General (2321 Tuttle Creek Blvd) on June 6, an aggravated battery at 512 S. 6th Street on June 8, and a robbery at Dara’s Fast Lane (2702 Anderson) on June 11. Arrested were:

Henry M. Jones (03-01-86)

Arrested for:
 Aggravated Robbery

 Aggravated Battery
Bond $75,000

Don S. Jones (09-09-74)
2525 Stagg Hill Road, Manhattan, Kansas
Arrested For:
 Aggravated Robbery
 Robbery
 Aggravated Battery
Bond $75,000

Kaywaun L. Washington (01-02-1989)
730 Allen Road Lot #82, Manhattan, Kansas
Arrested For:
 Aggravated Robbery
 Robbery
Bond $50,000

All three remained confined at the time of this press release. Additional charges may be forthcoming, including charges in neighboring jurisdictions.
