Charges Filed in Death of Man Found in Burning House

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ A 27-year-old man is charged with shooting another man and leaving him to die in a burning house in
Kansas City, Kan.

Mark T.J. Salary faces first-degree murder and aggravated arson charges. Wyandotte County prosecutors filed the charges Monday.

Salary is being held in the county jail on a $500,000 bond.

Firefighters pulled 58-year-old Valray Estell from his burning house the morning of March 17. They called police after noticing wounds that were not related to the fire.

Police determined Estell had been shot multiple times.

Services for Estell are to be held Tuesday.
