Mission Valley High School is without its principal.

The Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office says it arrested 47-year old Kimberlee Anderson for misdemeanor theft. The Sheriff's Office says she's accused of taking a small amount of currency from a teacher's office at the high school.

They say she's since been released from custody.

Mission Valley USD 330 superintendent Jim Markos says the school board terminated Anderson's contract as principal at its meeting Monday.
