Police were called to a local hospital at about 6:45 p.m. Monday reference a cutting that had occurred.
A 46-year-old man reported he was in the parking lot of the grocery store at 3110 SE 6th at about 6:15 p.m. When he got out of his vehicle, he was approached by an unknown male who displayed a knife.
The victim and suspect struggled and the victim was stabbed with a pocket knife. The victim’s injuries were non life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s, very thin, about 6’ and last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
