One man is in police custody after an alleged robbery at a Fidelity Bank branch inside a Topeka grocery store Wednesday morning.
The incident is still under investigation and the Topeka Police Department is expecting to release more information in the afternoon.
The robbery occurred at the branch located inside the Dillon's at 300 SW 29th around 11 o'clock when a man reportedly entered the store and, indicating he had a weapon, demanded money. He then left with an undisclosed amount.
About twenty minutes later, Sheriff's Deputies noticed a person who matched the suspect's description near 29th and Adams and proceeded to detain him.
No one was hurt in the incident.
