A study of FBI crime statistics says Kansas City, Kansas, is the nation's 25th-most dangerous city.
Out of the 378 cities studied, Kansas City, Missouri is ranked the 18th
most-dangerous city in the nation.
Detroit edged out St. Louis for the number one spot. Since 1950, Detroit has lost one million people to murder.
Not everyone agrees with the survey, though. The American Society of Criminology says the study -- by CQ Press -- is ``an irresponsible misuse'' of crime data.
