TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Topeka and Shawnee Co. Public Libary is launching a series of session to assist people in enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
The first is 3 pm Thursday, Oct. 3, at the library's Computer Training Center.
Libraries nationwide are serving as access points for people to sign up for coverage. The Navigating the Marketplace sessions will feature Certified Application Counselors, or navigators, who will assist in comparing insurance options and completing the online application.
Attendees should bring employer and income varification, such as a W-2 or paystub.
Other sessions are: 1-4 pm Oct. 5; Noon to 3 pm Oct. 16; 3 to 6 pm Oct. 18; 9 am to noon Oct. 19; 9 am to noon Nov. 7 and 3 to 6 pm Nov. 8.
