(WIBW) - Reser's Fine Foods has again expanded a recall of products made at its Topeka plant.

In a news release dated Sunday, Reser's said the expansion is a voluntary move. The initial recall was issued October 22nd over concerns its refrigerated, ready-to-eat products might be contaminated with Listeria.

All products involved were made at the Topeka plant. Reser's says they were distributed to retail and food service establishments nationwide and in Canada. They are marked with a Use-by or Best-by date and the plant identifier code 20.

The list of recalled items now spans eight pages. It can be viewed by clicking here.

Reser's says there are no confirmed illnesses associated with the products. Listeria is an organism that can cause serious infections with symptoms such as fever, severe headache, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Infections can be potentially deadly in young children, frail and elderly people and people with weakened immune systems.

Reser's temporarily suspended production at the Topeka plant Oct. 25 to dismantle equipment for deep cleaning. The company also launched what it called "extensive retraining" of employees, contractors and other personnel.
