Radio Show Tackles Women's Health Issues
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Women's health was the topic of discussion on a local radio show Friday morning.
"Kansas Live" hosts Jamie Slack and Roger Heaton focused on heart disease, diabetes and much more during their program on WIBW-AM 580. They spoke with guests including Connie Wages of the Jane C. Stormont Women's Center, Misty Kruger from the Shawnee County Health Agency and a Saint Francis cardiologist.
The hosts also provided information about health care to the uninsured and listed places where women can get medical care.
