(WIBW) - Northeast Kansans can help fight cancer with a refreshing drink!
Alex's Lemonade Stand is set up at HyVee stores in Topeka, Manhattan and Lawrence. They were open for business Friday and will be open again Saturday, June 1, from 10 am to 6 pm.
The fundraiser is named for 4-year-old cancer patient Alexandra. Before she died, she opened a lemonade stand hoping to find a cure for all children with cancer.
The movement is now the Alex's Lemonade Stand foundation, which raises money to find cures for childhood cancers.
