This week's Wednesday's Children are a brother and sister, who are definitely connected!
10-year old Chauntel is the older sister. She says she loves her brother because of his beautiful smile. Nate, who's 8-years old, loves his sister a lot in return. He says he likes her smile, how she does her hair, and how she takes care of him.
Chauntel keeps her brother in line, but also keeps herself on track in school. She says she likes learning and being with her friends.
For Nate, school isn't his favorite place to be. He says snacks and celebrating birthdays can be fun.
Both children agree, they like being around each other. And, they're hoping to take their small family and join a larger, adoptive one. Nate says he'd hope to receive toys and a party. Chauntel simply says it would be good to have a real mom and dad.
