ST. FRANCIS -- The public is invited to attend the latest “Wellness Wednesdays” session on stroke featuring Sushmita Veloor, M.D.
“Wellness Wednesdays” is a free monthly series of sessions on health and wellness topics organized by St. Francis Sports Medicine.
Doors open at 6:00 Wednesday night, and the presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. The session lasts about an hour. For more information, call the St. Francis Sports Medicine Center at 785-228-1700.
Sushmita Veloor, M.D., is St. Francis Rehabilitation Services inpatient medical director and physician with Midwest Rehabilitation P.A., 634 S.W. Mulvane, Suite 401, Topeka, Kansas, 66606. Her work includes treating stroke patients in the St. Francis Neuro Rehabilitation Clinic. She is certified by the Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, including certification for a subspecialty for spinal cord injury medicine.
