Our Wednesday's Children this week are a brother and sister who love animals.
We met 15-year old Carrie and her 11-year old brother Robert at Petland. They got to know a couple of ferrets as we got to know them.
Both kids enjoy school, especially the social aspects. They say they always look forward to seeing their friends. Robert also likes to ride his bike and go down the slide at the swimming pool. Carrie, on the other hand, says one of her favorite hobbies is talking to friends on the phone. Like most other teenage girls, she says they often talk about "boys."
But both kids would like to have an adult to talk to. They'd like to have a mom and a dad, who will listen and take them places. No doubt, one of their first trips would have to be to a pet store!
