This week's Wednesday's Children are two sisters, who are close in age and close to one another. The oldest sister is LaLecka who's seven years old. The youngest girl is Ron'Nesha who's six. Where one sister goes, you can bet the other isn't far behind.
Both girls enjoy playing with Barbies, dolls, and riding their bikes. They have little minds of their own, but they do agree on what they'd like in an adoptive family. These girls would like a family who would take them swimming and play with them outside.
They also want a family who will adopt them together. They count on each other to stay safe. In fact, LaLecka says Ron'Nesha keeps the "monsters" away and protects her.
If you'd like more information about LaLecka and Ron'Nesha or any of the other children in need of adoption, call Kansas Children's Service League at 877-530-5275. You can also log onto their website at www.cominghomekansas.org.
