EMPORIA -- The Lyon County Health Department announces the next influenza vaccination clinic for both H1N1 and seasonal influenza vaccine this Tuesday, December 15th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. All individuals ages 6 months and above may receive H1N1 and/or seasonal influenza vaccine.
Children 9 and under need a second dose of the H1N1 vaccination, at least 28 days after their first H1N1 vaccination.
Due to possible cold weather during the vaccination clinic please dress warmly in case you have to stand outside in line prior to your vaccination.
The H1N1 influenza vaccine is free. Seasonal influenza vaccine is $20 -cash, Medicaid, Medicare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield are accepted.
Consent forms for both H1N1 vaccine and seasonal influenza vaccine are available on our website at www.flinthillshealth.org to download and complete prior to coming to the clinic.
