Topeka (WIBW) - Stormont-Vail HealthCare and Cotton-O’Neil Clinic are widening the scope of their H1N1 vaccinations.

The system will no longer limit the vaccine to target groups. Instead, all Cotton-O’Neil and PediatricCare patients over six months of age will be able to get vaccinated.

Stormont also set its next H1N1 vaccination Clinic. It will be 9 am to 4 pm, Thursday, Dec. 10, at Cotton-O’Neil Heart Center, 929 SW Mulvane.

In addition, children 9 years of age and younger are due for a second dose of the H1N1 vaccine if they received their first dose on or before Nov. 10, 2009.

To receive the H1N1 flu vaccine, you must not be currently experiencing
flu-like symptoms.

Vaccine Information Sheets and Vaccine Consent Forms are available on www.stormontvail.org. Participants are asked to bring a completed form with them to help make for a more efficient wait time.

Should the supply of the vaccine run out before 4 p.m., a message will be posted on stormontvail.org and the Stormont-Vail HealthCare Flu Information Line at (785) 354-6789.
