KU Reports Several Cases Of H1N1, Campus Still Open

The University of Kansas is reporting several cases of H1N1 cases on campus and warns that a strong recurrence of the flu virus is expected this fall and winter.

The school is asking anyone diagnosed with H1N1 to either go home or to isolate themselves until they have recovered. No buildings have closed, and the school says has no plans to do so.

Students who become ill or have health concerns are asked to call Student Health Services at (785) 864-9583 to speak with a nurse. Students who are ill should contact professors to make arrangements to keep up on coursework.
