KDHE Grants Help CommunityClinics

The KHDE has announced over six million dollars in grants for primary care clinics and health centers.

KHDE Secretary Roderick Bremby says the grants will help thousands of Kansans many of whom don't have health insurance.

The funding is designed to enable community-based projects to continue providing affordable primary health care to the state's underserved.

Among the recipients, Flint Hills Community Health Center will receive $385,000, Shawnee County Health Agency and Konza Prairie will each receive over $200,000.
