You've heard the phrase "two heads are better than one." That certainly applies to this week's Wednesday's Children.
13-year old Jackie is the youngest sister, but she's certainly not the shyest. She likes to give her older sister Monique a hard time. And, she enjoys reading and spending time at the Boys and Girls Club.
Monique is 15 years old. She spends her free time reading, writing, and playing on a computer.
What they'd both like to do, though, is to join a forever family. Jackie would like an adoptive family who would be nice to her and treat her with respect. Monique would also like a family who gives her respect. And, she'd like for them to go to church.
These girls have been in state care for some time but have been together. They hope to stay together and move into a loving, permanent home of their very own.
