We met this week's Wednesday's Child, Rachel, at the Kansas Museum of History. She was a good sport, and immediately put on a cowgirl costume and pretended she was in the Old West.
Rachel is just a good-natured young lady. She says she likes school, especially math even though she's not very good at it. She says she is getting better, working with numbers, and says she's always trying to get on her teacher's good side.
Away from school, Rachel says she likes to read library books, do her homework, and watch television. But, she'd like to add another activity to that list and that's spending time with a forever family.
She says she'd like to have a mom and a dad, who focus on their faith. Rachel says she's a Christian and she loves God. She has a lot of love to give, though, and has plenty just waiting for an adoptive family!
For more information about Rachel or any of the other children in need of adoption, call Kansas Children's Service League at 877-530-5275. You can also log onto their website at www.cominghomekansas.org.
