Woman Sentenced To Less Than 8 Years For Boyfriend's Murder
DeAnna Meece, was sentenced to seven years, 10 months behind bars for killing her boyfriend, Ricky Nurnberg, in the summer of 2009 at their home in Emporia.

EMPORIA, Kansas (WIBW) - DeAnna Meece, was sentenced to seven years, 10 months behind bars for killing her boyfriend.
The Lyon County Attorney's Office says Meece was sentenced to 94 months and ordered to pay $9,725.92 97 on January 19, 2010.
She was found guilty of killing Ricky Nurnberg at the couple's home in central Emporia on June 17, 2009.
Court records showed the couple had argued several hours before Nurnberg's death and had a violent relationship.
