Police Investigate Two Morning Robberies
Topeka police are trying to determine if two robberies Friday morning are related and are trying to track down the suspect or suspects involved.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)_ Topeka police are trying to determine if two robberies Friday morning are related and are trying to track down the suspect or suspects involved.
According to police reports, at 7:55 AM an unknown black male, wearing a tan Carhart ranch style coat, with a light grey hoodie underneath and covering his face with a red & white bandana, displaying a silver semi-auto handgun robbed the Scotch Fabric Cleaners, located at 2801 SE California. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspect fled southbound from the business through the Burger King parking Lot.
Then, at 9:24 AM an unknown black male, 6’ medium build, wearing a ¾ length coat with a hood and covering his face with a grey bandana, displaying a silver semi-auto handgun robbed the Juice Stop, located at 5327 SW 21st. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspect fled the business westbound across the parking lot along SW 21st.
Police are canvassing the area looking for any witness. Someone may have seen the suspects at either location, but didn’t realize what had happened. Anyone with the smallest amount of information, please contact the police department.
Police are continuing to investigate and ask that anyone with information call detectives at 368-9400 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
