Jury Convicts Cherokee County Man Of Killing His Wife
Attorney General Steve Six says jurors convicted Robert Jarman of intentional secondary degree murder in the death of his wife, Suzanne Jarman.

(WIBW) - A Cherokee County jury returned a guilty verdict against a man accused of killing his wife.
Attorney General Steve Six says jurors convicted Robert Jarman of intentional secondary degree murder in the death of his wife, Suzanne Jarman.
Authorities say Robert Jarman called 911 Aug. 22, 2007, to report his wife had been shot at their home outside Columbus. They arrived to find her dead from a gun shot wound to the back of her head.
Robert Jarman was charged in February 2008.
With Jarman's criminal history, he faces a sentence of between 147 to 165 months. Sentencing has been scheduled for January 15th at 10:00 a.m.
The defense filed a motion for a new trial. That motion will be heard December 15th at 1:00 p.m.
