Former Holton Man Found Guilty Of Raping Child
The Holton Recorder reports that Paul S. Davis faces two counts of rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

A jury has found a former Holton man guilty on charges of raping a child.

The Holton Recorder reports that Paul S. Davis faces two counts of rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

The charges come from the alleged incident that happened in November of 2003 involving Davis's then 11 year old step daughter.

A warrant for davis's arrest was issued in November of 2003, but davis took off and was later found and arrested in North Carolina in 2008.

Sentencing is set for october 22nd in Jackson County District Court.

It is certainly accurate that this man has been found guilty. However, if you examine the case, you will find that there was actually no evidence to show that he committed the crimes of which he was accused. In fact, there was no evidence at all in this case. It was simply he said, she said. Unfortunately, the institution of laws like Megan's Law have made it impossible for accused men in our society to live a normal life again. Just think about the Duke Rape case. He is the victim here.

I AGREE HE NEEDS TO NEVER BE OUT. ANYONE THAT HURTS A CHILD SHOULD BE IN FOR LIFE!! THIS HAPPENED IN 2003. HOW MANY KIDS HAS HE RAPED SINCE THEN.

And in a few years, he will be out on probation doing it again to someone elses child. I wonder when we are going to wake up and start removing these predators from our society permanently?
