A Belleville, Kansas man was sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison in a child pornography case.

28-year-old Joshua Noxon received his sentence Wednesday in U.S. District Court. He was found guilty in July of one count of possession of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography.

Prosecutors say an undercover officer came into contact with Noxon in 2005, while posing as a 14-year old girl in an internet chat room called "incest." They say Noxon sent the investigator links to online photo albums containing sexually explicit photos of children.

Investigators say a search of Noxon's home turned up hundreds of images of child pornography including images of prepubescent girls being sexually assaulted.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Christine Kenney prosecuted the case as part of Project Safe Childhood.

The poor children these days. They live in a horrible world where there seems to be no rights for them and no voice. Time to put these criminals in jail and throw away the key before they hurt or murder some innocent child. It happens all the time. They get out of jail and they are right back at it. More laws are needed to protect these babies.

I wish porn was banned on the internet. What goes does it do? What is the outcome of this degrading filth? Porn destroys marriages and protrays sex meaningless, where it should be special and meaningful. No wonder there is an increase in rapes and espically our young innocent victims who are raped and suffer forver emotionally. Is there a good comment out there on the benefits on viewing porn? What is this country coming to???
