Riley County Police Receive Report of Cop Impersonator
Manhattan Mercury reports Riley County Police Department has received complaints of a man driving around Ogden in an old police car wearing a uniform. They report he approached at least one person and asked for personal information after telling them they were wanted on a warrant.

The Manhattan Mercury reports that Riley County Police have received reports of a man driving around Ogden impersonating a police officer.
They report RCPD saying a man believed to be in his early forties was seen driving around in what is possibly a mid-90's Chevy Impala with a spotlight on the driver's side doorframe wearing a uniform of some sort.
The Mercury says RCPD was told he approached at least one person, told them they were wanted on a warrant, and asked for their personal information.
Police ask you to report this man if you see him in the area again.
