The Manhattan Mercury reports that Riley County Police have received reports of a man driving around Ogden impersonating a police officer.

They report RCPD saying a man believed to be in his early forties was seen driving around in what is possibly a mid-90's Chevy Impala with a spotlight on the driver's side doorframe wearing a uniform of some sort.

The Mercury says RCPD was told he approached at least one person, told them they were wanted on a warrant, and asked for their personal information.

Police ask you to report this man if you see him in the area again.
