Second Defendant Sentenced for Slaying of Former Basketball Player
A second defendant has been sentenced in relation the shooting death of a former Pittsburg State University Baseketball player. The 22-year-old was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

COLUMBUS, Kan. (AP) - A second defendant has been sentenced in the 2007 shooting death of former Pittsburg State University basketball player Jamie Richardson in Baxter Springs.
Twenty-year-old Edward Gordon had pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and was sentenced yesterday to 10 years in prison for the slaying.
