20-Year-Old Topekan Shot and Killed Overnight Save Email Print

Topeka, KS (WIBW) --Topeka Police are continuing to investigate a homicide of a Topeka man.

At about 5:20 a.m., officers were called to the 1300 block of SW Lane to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound lying in the street.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Timothy Lister, 20 years of age.

Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information please call detectives at 368-9400 or Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.

I think the police need to look further into the man that was stabbed as being the shooter yeah maybe mario hasnt turned himself in did you ever think it was because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time an got scared if it were me i would look more into TJ and about why his wife is trying to cover up and hide information and redirect the focus so much besides who wouldnt be scared after seeing some get killed there are so many loops in the story its not even funny how come in kc it takes less than 48 hours to solve a crime in Topeka it takes years an years trust me i know my friend was murdered about 5 years ago crime stil unsolved go figure

That was called sarcasm. If they are reporing an incident that happened in Topeka, why is a map of Lyndon part of the story? That should of been really easy to figure out before it was posted.
