Family and friends of a missing Viola woman who was found Friday say they're happy she's finally home.

48-year old Joyce Patterson was last seen Monday at a Viola convenience store where she worked.

Authorities say Patterson told them a 300-pound man robbed the store, then abducted her. Patterson said he blindfolded her and forced her to ride on the floor of his car.

From there, Patterson told investigators the man drove her to an unknown home where she was tied up. She told them that Thursday, the abductor had a change of heart after seeing media coverage of her disappearance and decided to drop her off at her pastor's home.

Joyce's daughter, Ashley, says her mother is doing great, even laughing and joking around. Ashley Patterson said a prayer vigil held this week helped the family keep the faith that Joyce Patterson would be found.

The search continues for the suspect.
